Who doesn’t like a touch of the exotic now and then? I know I love the bright colors and soft fabrics of the Middle East, India and Asia, and so I was thrilled to get a chance to blog about some items that incorporate all of the mystery and wonder of the gypsy and Moroccan cultures!
First is a set of manicure/pedicure textures that are dazzling and so evocative of the gorgeous sights one could see in ancient Morocco, brought to you by the one and only Dark Passions Koffin Nails! The two sets are done in both gold and silver, with the most deliciously bright colors to go along with the design. You’ll have trouble figuring out which one you want to apply to your nails! These sets are available as singles or fatpacks for the Genre event, the theme Moroccan, being held until September 11. (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Analog%20Dog%20Hair/13/204/2953)
Now we move from northern Africa and the Middle East to India, the Asian country that is the origin of the gypsy. Gypsies have long embodied the thought of freedom, the nomadic lifestyle that encompasses the notion of cutting society’s bonds and go wherever and whenever one will…and gypsies also make for amazing fashion muses! First, though, we look at some boots that, although not strictly gypsy, certainly do complement the gypsy outfit beautifully! S0H0E Shoes have come out with the “Chastity” boots, a pair of the most strappy boots you’ll ever own! They come in 12 colors with a hud and fit Belleza, Maitreya and Slink Highs. You’ll find them at the VSSR event; details follow:

And now, the gypsy outfit, from Le Fashion Whore; a gorgeous bustier-type top with miniskirt tied in the back with a sash, providing a teasing little keyhole gap in the back. The hud allows you to change the color of the top, laces, metal grommets, sash and skirt. You can have literally dozens of looks! This outfit has been prepared for The Artist’s Palette: Hello Autumn! event, from Sept. 8 – 28 (so you will need to wait a few days!):
